How often have you thoughtfully filled a water carafe with ice-cubes ready to serve your guests with a refreshing beverage only to splash the first arrival with liquid as you proceed to pour a cupful of cubes into their glass?
With one pour you leave the carafe devoid of cubes while you escape from your initial arrival’s glass of ice to welcome further guests. Well no more!
The Royal VKB Iced Carafe will solve all your problems. Simply fill the container to the indicated level, place horizontal in the freezer and the ice will magically form on the side of the carafe. (In the shape of a snow flake no less..)
Now your guests will receive a full glass of their favourite beverage quietly chilled from the outside of the Carafe.
It’ll deliver chilled liquid from the first to last glass, perfect. And then, when the party’s over, just pop the Carafe in the dishwasher. It’s sheer brilliance, we don’t mind bragging!

Officeoriginair is a cooperation between Ivan Kasner and Uli Budde. Both designers studied and graduated at the Design academy Eindhoven (2004 and 2005).
