Black+Blum
Black+Blum was started in 1998 by Dan Black and Martin Blum, who decided to base themselves in London. They started as a design consultancy who advised companies on creative aspects; it was the insights they had then that were the catalyst for the range of Black+Blum products now available. Black&Blum's mission is to create functional products that 'charm and entertain'. Black and Blum have won many design awards since their inception from 'Gift of the year' to 'Grand Design Awards' through to 'Classic Design Awards'. Some black+blum's most famous pieces are the iconinc 'James the Doorman, and the award winning Loop Candleholder.
