Launched in 2006, Canova gifts was created out a need to design and create environmentally sound products and gifts; that were also functional and fun. As soon as we saw these gifts we knew that we had to sell them; their grow your own range of plants and flowers just looked absolutely fantastic. They manufacture everything that they sell in the UK; and try their hardest to ensure that all of their packaging and plant components are as environmentally friendly as possible (keeping everything UK based means their carbon footprint is significantly smaller that any products shipped from other countries..).
The Canova 'Grow My First' range is made up of a selection of plants including 'Cosmos', 'Strawberry Plant' and 'Sunflower', the packaging of these plants is made of a paper which is ready for colouring in, before the top is cut off and seeds watered in the soil. The plants are a fantastic little gift for children and you get a beautiful plant at the end as well!
For a gift for someone a little older (not that the Grow My First don't make great gifts for adults too!) Canova also do the Pocket Garden Range and the Occasions Range. The Occasions Range are designed for giving; covering occasions such as a new baby, 'Get Well Soon' or 'Forget Me Not'.
The Pocket Garden Range from Canova also allows you to grow plants, in an easy manner. All that is required for your own handy sized plant; is to cut off the top and then water it! (It's that easy - really!) There is now no reason to not have your own Chilli, Poppy, Strawberry, Sunflower or Sweet Pea plant growing in your house.
